I just came from here and it’s not too late for you to enjoy this sunny day at Taste of Marietta 2016 since it is going until 7 p.m. tonight.
Walk the square or take chairs and a blanket to sit in the grass and enjoy the live music. Admission is free.
75 restaurants and food trucks are participating today, serving (generous) sample sizes ranging in price from $1-$5. There are some standard festival food options, too, but why people are standing in line for a hot dog with all the local options available is beyond me.

There are also some kids’ activities and the Marietta Fire Department is displaying some antique fire trucks from the Marietta Fire Museum. Buy a t-shirt to support them. We picked one up for my son.
